LEGACY HILL ACRES
DESIGNED WITH INTENTION
DESIGNED WITH INTENTION
WE ARE PHIL AND CRISTI STATZ, THE OWNERS OF LEGACY HILL ACRES.
Growing up on family farms taught us the value of hard work, caring for the land, and the character that would later serve us well in our corporate careers. After many years, life led us back to farming, but to a very different kind of farming than the one we had known.
We grew up surrounded by cattle, horses, hayfields, and corn. Today, our focus is conservation, regenerative practices, and restoring the health of the land. Rather than following conventional agriculture, we have chosen a different path, one centered on rebuilding what years of intensive farming had stripped away and creating a place where wildlife, pollinators, and people can flourish together.
We are still learning, and we expect we always will be. Stewarding the land is a lifelong journey, one that continually teaches us humility, patience, and hope. Looking back, we wouldn't change a thing. This journey has become one of the greatest blessings of our lives, and it is the heart of Legacy Hill Acres.
A CENTURY OF STEWARDSHIP
As third-generation farmers, we were honored to celebrate a century of family farming in 2021. This land has been cared for by generations before us, and today it remains both a privilege and a responsibility to continue that legacy. Every season reminds us that we are stewards of something much greater than ourselves.
Nestled just outside Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, our 140-acre Century Farm is home to seasonal cut flowers, more than 117 acres of monarch and pollinator habitat, and a historic barn that reflects the rich heritage of our family's farm. Caring for this land is one of our greatest joys, and we believe the beauty found here is a gift meant to be shared.
MORE THAN FLOWERS
While our farming roots shaped who we are, our years in the corporate world shaped how we serve. They taught us the importance of thoughtful communication, professionalism, and creating meaningful experiences with care and excellence. Today, those values remain at the heart of every interaction we have with our customers.
When Legacy Hill Acres began, our vision was to grow beautiful flowers.
OVER TIME, HOWEVER, WE REALIZED THAT FLOWERS HAVE A REMARKABLE WAY OF BECOMING PART OF LIFE’S MOST MEANINGFUL MOMEMTS.
They celebrate weddings and anniversaries. They welcome new life. They offer comfort in seasons of loss. They brighten an ordinary Tuesday, honor a life well lived, and quietly remind us that beauty still exists, even in difficult seasons.
DESIGNED WITH INTENTION
That realization changed everything. We no longer saw flowers as something simply to grow or arrange. We began to see them as part of people's stories.
Today, Legacy Hill Acres has become a place where flowers, photography, and thoughtfully designed experiences come together to celebrate, preserve, and honor life's meaningful moments. Whether we are creating wedding florals, designing flowers for a special occasion, delivering seasonal floral memberships, welcoming photographers to the farm, or occasionally hosting private educational workshops and flower bar experiences, every offering begins with the same purpose: to serve others with intention and create something that reflects the significance of the moment it becomes part of.
EVERY MEANINGFUL MOMENT DESERVES THOUGHTFUL DESIGN.
For us, flowers have never simply been about arrangements. They are about people. Every bouquet becomes part of someone's story, and it is a privilege we never take for granted.
Our faith is the foundation of both our family and our business. It shapes how we care for the land, how we serve our customers, and how we approach every opportunity entrusted to us.
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about our story. We are honored to share this little corner of Wisconsin with you and hope the beauty found here encourages you in whatever season you may be walking through.
